Highway No. 640, an asphalt surface, two-lane road, is owned and maintained by the Ontario Ministry of Transportation, and is the prime access to the ETRA.
All vehicle parking and driving surfaces, with the exception of the area between the maintenance garage and the fuelling station, are gravel. The areaa lack definition (i.e., definitive driving lanes or parking spaces) and appropriate signage. It is recommended that the ETRA consider implementing ways to structure the driving lanes and parking spaces.
Should the ATB be replaced/relocated to an area easy of the present location, it is recommeneded that a landside asphalt surface parking and road access be provided. The estimated cost to implement would be $85,000.
